In the 1980's, Cosmos was the biggest pop group in the world. Javelin, Comet, and Goldstar were household names. After sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll tore them apart, each found a new purpose in life. For Javelin, it was Jesus and family. For Comet, it was K-Mart and her mother. For Goldstar, it was her two minimally-talented sisters. Years later, when each is at rock bottom, the idea of a reunion tour becomes a reality, forcing each of them to face their demons, embrace the music within, and get over their petty grievances for the good of music itself.
Originally produced by Theatre Downtown in 2009, WE THREE QUEENS returns to the brand new TDT stage with revamped music from composer Flannery Whaley an updated script from Billy Ray Brewton.

Verna "Goldstar" Marona - Male, 30-60 - the now wheelchair bound member of Cosmos
Jack Nabors - Male, 18-40 - Amanda's homosexual son with Jim Nabors
Ore-Ida Boone - Female, 45-80 - Dee-Dee's overbearing, bedridden mother
Paul Peppers - Male, 30-75 - the most respected music critic in the entire world
Auditions will consist of cold reading from the script and will be videotaped for the director.
We Three Queens opens Sept. 5 and runs through Sept. 21.
