The Sit Down Sessions are back, and this time, it’s More Spiritual Than Lyrical.

Presented by Sankofa Suite and The Flourish, this one-of-a-kind Birmingham-born experience invites you to engage with music and lyricism on a deeper level. Come out to hear some of the best talents in the city, get the meaning behind the music, and connect directly with the artists during an open-floor audience Q&A.

You'll receive printed lyrics and highlighters so you can mark your favorite lines, ask the artists what inspired them, and truly sit down with the story behind their songs.

Our line up will feature:

• G.I. Magus as the host
• Performances by Spex Da Great, 7even Rich, and the man behind Sankofa Suite, You Gene Write as he celebrates not only his birthday, but the release of his new album and book More Spiritual Than Lyrical
