The object of this workshop is to gain an understanding of painting florals in an abstract way and to use this knowledge to fuel your studio practice. Today we will be learning partially from direct observation and imagination. We will also be discussing the French master floral painter Henri Fantin Latour.

Break down the form to its basic shape
Use the background to cut out the image
Create a dynamic and striking abstract floral
Let loose and have fun!

This class is appropriate for beginners to more experienced painters. Covers basic acrylic painting techniques and provides individual assistance. No prior experience is required.
