While you're sipping we invite you to join the LUCA Exclusive Wine Club! Each month, we’ll curate a selection of wines based on region, style and season. Come to LUCA to pick up two or three bottles based on your subscription.

LUCA, the Italian Restaurant and Market in Homewood, AL is a concept by the Pihakis Restaurant Group and founded by Birmingham Restaurateur Nick Pihakis. LUCA features both a restaurant and market, offering dishes like homemade pasta, pizza, and gelato, as well as a selection of meats, cheeses and fine wines. Open 7 days a week with a beautiful bar and patio where guests can drink and dine among the olive trees and is pet friendly. Plenty of free parking in our private parking area.

The idea for LUCA Lagotto was born in 2024 while visiting the small villages in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy and named after Nick Pihakis’ dog, LUCA a Lagotto Romagnolo.

The idea for LUCA Mercato Lagotto located in the front of LUCA Restaurant. We invite you to visit the market to drop in and pick up imported and domestic wines, cured meats, cheeses and olive oils and well as house made sauces and pastas. Bring home some of our specialty Italian goods to share with your family and friends, like we share with ours.
