Environment Agency Flood Risk Management Drop-in Session 9th July @ Stirchley Baths

The Environment Agency will be holding two drop-in sessions next month to discuss their updated flood risk management proposals.

Their plans still include dams/embankments in Manor Farm Park and Valley Parkway to provide temporary water storage in the event of heavy rainfall. We understand that Valley Parkway (the location of the boating pool) would be designed to hold 46,000m³ of flood water, with Manor Farm holding 20,000m³.

Please share these events and attend one of the drop in sessions if you can, to review the updated plans and share your views. Representatives of the park action groups will also be present at the drop-in sessions.
