Ready to take your first steps into the world of dressmaking? Join our hands-on, beginner-friendly sewing class and learn how to sew your very own stylish V-neck top using the popular Samara pattern by Tilly and the Buttons!
Whether you're completely new to garment sewing or want to build confidence following a commercial pattern, this class will guide you through every step — from cutting fabric to finishing your seams like a pro.
The Samara top has a modern, relaxed fit, with V neckline, drop shoulders, four sleeve styles, and two hemlines to choose from. There are no darts or fiddly bits to content with, making it an ideal beginners project to build your skills and confidence.
Due to the pattern's simplicity, it also offers a great opportunity for sewists with more experience to try sewing with a new fabric like viscose, double gauze or linen.
