The ¡HICA! Junior Board presents the 2025 Birmingham Pig Roast y Mercado—an event that celebrates Latin culture while honoring Alabama's passion for good barbecue.
In Puerto Rico and throughout Latin America, a pig roast marks every significant celebration. Now, ¡HICA! brings this tradition to the Magic City on August 9th from 2-6 PM at Cahaba Brewing Company. 🐷
Join us for authentic Puerto Rican slow-roasted pork prepared traditionally over coal, delicious sides, vibrant Latin music, and a mercado featuring local artisans and their unique creations.🪇
Quench your thirst with Cahaba's special HICA drink or their popular Mexican lager, Del Rio. We'll bring los lechones (the delicious pork slow roasting for hours). You bring your appetite and your dancing shoes. Welcome to our familia. 💛
