CALL THE CATTLE HOME (Exhibition & Zine Launch)

CALL THE CATTLE HOME collects both artists' intertwined experiences of cultural heritage, migration and local mythology as they reflect on the ways in which we connect to ancestors, spirits and the land, here and now. As well as a zine of photos, collages and text; the artists also present a new body of work including textiles, sculpture and sound that chart a line between ancient pasts and modern magick here on the Wirral - including golems made from marine debris, archive material from the computing coven of Bidston and ephemeral documentation of the Wirral's unique and elusive cryptid, the Poldie.

Launch event on Saturday August 23rd in the HECS project space in Bidston Observatory, 4 - 7pm (with refreshments and live performance TBA).

Exhibition open every Saturday (12pm - 4pm) until September 20th.

ACCESSIBILITY

Cars can drive straight to the venue entrance, with a ramp available at the door (over one step). The ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible, with widened doors, and space to manoeuvre a wheelchair. The accessible bathroom and HECS space are located on the ground floor. Service animals are very welcome.
