Bliss Comedy is hosted by Mary Cross, comedian, radio presenter and podcaster who is looking to create a wonderfully diverse and safe space for everyone to enjoy a night of comedy.
This month we have we have a brilliantly varied line-up with something for everyone!
Joining us this month are:
Headliner: Maura Jackson
Maura Jackson, aka the Feather Fixer, is a powerhouse performer on stage. Winner of Best Stand Up Show in Buxton Fringe Festival in 2024 and Semi-Finalist in So You Think You're Funny, Maura has people crying with laughter with her tales of life.
Kerry Robinson
When not lounging on a sofa rolling her eyes at social media, Kerry can be found making people laugh all over the country . At times acerbic, and not afraid to speak her mind she tells tales of being a middle aged woman.
Kerry was part of the Promising Middle Aged Women, her ensemble cast show that sold out Durham Fringe and performed at the Women in Comedy Festival In Manchester
Reviews:
"Kerry did my Showcase night in Stockton On Tees and stood out from most of the other comedians as a confident act with good delivery and some cleverly thought out jokes. The audience warmed to her from the 1st minute and her set got stronger and stronger as the minutes past" - Phil Smith, Shoe Cake Comedy.
“Quite good, you’ve got something there” Simon Curtis, ex-husband and Disastermind (google it, it’s funny)
“Very, Very funny” Rich Wilson
‘Sharp writing and flawless delivery. Kerry is a sure fire hit on any lineup’ - RockCentral Promotions
Kat Molinari
SIÂN DAVIES: "Queen of puns Kat Molinari has a killer combination of acerbic one liners and doe eyed innocence. Sweetness and light with an enviable sting in the tail."
DAISY EARL: "One of the funniest comedians I've seen in years! Warm, silly & likeable. A natural storyteller who I think will go far."
Rachel Fitz
Originally from Wrexham -the Hollywood of Wales - and now based in Liverpool, Rach Fitz is a sex ed teacher by day and a stand-up comic by night. Mixing cheeky observations with hilarious original songs, she brings classroom chaos to the comedy stage—with far too much knowledge about genitalia and just enough about guitar chords. Expect silliness, sass, and stories your biology teacher definitely never told you.
Guy Fagan
Fresh from the mean streets of Upton on the Wirral, Guy shares surreal observations of a true middle aged outsider. His dry wit and impeccable timing has punters in stitches from start to finish.
Mark McKean (in our new 5 min spot)
Mark McKean came into comedy as an attempted self-treatment for his health issues. He entertains his audiences with his mixed style of comedy, but he might fall asleep before the end of his set!
