Barleylands Food & Farming Weekend

On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June, Barleylands will be hosting a celebration of food and farming.

In the Farm Park, our customers will be able to learn and take part in farming traditions such as learning about harvesting and also have the opportunity for photographs in our Tractors.

There will be fun talks throughout the day, and even a chance to make your own bread roll. We'll have our usual farm park packed timetable, plus the following:

- Sheep shearing
- Wool spinners - learn how wool is spun
- Bread making
- Butter making
- Meet the Farmer talks
- Sit on BIG tractors
- Stand next to a combine harvester for photos
- Learn about the journey of wheat

To give you a feel of what to expect of this weekend, we will be holding a local Farmer’s Market in The Village, showcasing the best of local and fresh produce.

Whilst we don’t want to give away too much right now, we are excited to confirm that you will be able to sample and purchase some of the best wines in Essex from a Vineyard less than 15 miles away. That’s just a teaser, so keep your eyes peeled on our Socials for who will be joining us.

It will be FREE to park and FREE entry to The Village. Once you have had a chance to tantalise those tastebuds, head into the Farm Park.
