Join Under The Horizon at Harbaugh-Thomas Library for a fun and creative adventure inspired by Mrs. Wishy-Washy’s Farm by Joy Steuerwald! In this hands-on class, children will hear about Mrs. Wishy-Washy and her mischievous animals, then create their own farm animal sculpture using clay. Under The Horizon is a professional pottery studio in Gettysburg, PA, and we’re thrilled to partner with the library to encourage reading and spark creativity in young minds.

All pieces will be crafted using professional-grade clay. After the creation and completion of the animal, the piece will be returned to our studio, where our skilled instructors will fire it. The completed piece will be available for pickup at Under The Horizon within three weeks, ready to color and personalize at home.
