Yule - The Pregnant Pause

An invitation to gather around a woodland hearth and celebrate the winter (Capricorn) solstice, and an opportunity reflect on all that’s passed this year and what might be born in the next.

Continuing our Wheel of the Year series - indeed beginning a new cycle, this gentle, spacious and reflective Nature connection event blends collective and individual elements, along with seasonally inspired refreshments. “A warm hug of an afternoon.”

Where: Tapeley Park Forest School site. Please meet at the gravel parking area adjacent to Tapeley Park House. What3Words location descriptor: stiffly.remember.police. Car sharing is invited if you know others who are attending.

Cost: £10 per person. We limit participant numbers to 12 for intimacy, so please book early if interested.

What to bring: A sense of curiosity, plus clothing and footwear appropriate to the time of year and a woodland environment. There is shelter from rain and the event will only be cancelled in really foul weather/high winds. NB: On this occasion, please also bring a torch as we will be ending the event in darkness and it may prove helpful.
