Vampyros Lesbos (1971)

“Eccentric Cinema” was inspired by the groundbreaking L.A. cable station Z Channel and its chief programmer Jerry Harvey. Dedicated to showcasing offbeat films, directors’ cuts, and the more unique mainstream offerings, Harvey resurrected movies that had been cast aside critically, flopped at the box office, or developed cult followings. Adopting that same idea, “Eccentric Cinema” brings you some of the wildest, weirdest, underseen, or most controversial movies, allowing audiences the opportunity to experience these films on the big screen.

VAMPYROS LESBOS: An American lawyer (Ewa Strömberg) is lured to a private island owned by the same lesbian vampire she’s been dreaming of. The enchanting Soledad Miranda co-stars in this fever dream as the sexually vivacious Countess Nadine Carody. Due to the nature of the film, NO ONE UNDER 18 WILL BE ADMITTED. (1971, dir.
