It's the story of a group of residents at Placid Pines Senior Care Center who band together to purchase a vintage Wurlitzer jukebox for their recreation room, named "The Algonquin," to recapture the music and spirit of their youth. The residents, facing financial limitations, embark on a humorous and heartwarming journey to raise the necessary funds, even uncovering a secret garden along the way. The play explores themes of aging, resilience, and the enduring power of music to connect people across generations, with a cast of characters who are witty, wise, and full of life.
