The event will offer two starting locations the Isle Casino Hotel in Bettendorf, Iowa, and Goose Lake, IA all riders will ride to Dubuque, IA where they will overnight then return on Sunday to their desired location. The QCBC will offer check-in beginning the day before the ride. It’s a great opportunity for cyclists to meet new people, learn more about biking, and enjoy the beautiful landscapes as the ride the Mississippi Valley.

TOMRV returns in 2025 promising an unforgettable, challenging adventure for cyclists.
This two-day event offers a perfect blend of challenge and beauty. TOMRV, organized by the Quad Cities Bicycle Club, is celebrating its 46th year in 2025.
This popular event has attracted over a 1,000 cyclists annually, who come to ride the scenic and challenging roads along the glacier-carved Mississippi River Valley. From flat stretches to steep bluffs, TOMRV offers a variety of terrains that challenge riders of all levels, from competitive racers to fitness enthusiasts. In addition to well stocked sag stops we also have bike support on route by certified bike mechanics.
Event Details:
Day 0: Friday, June 6, 2025.
We will have packet pick up at both Goose Lake and Bettendorf. There is a block of rooms at the Isle Hotel / Casino.

RVs can part at the Isle. WE are working on a camping option in Bettendorf.
Route: Day 1: Covers approximately 105 miles from Bettendorf to Dubuque, IA, with a shorter route option available. The shorter route starts at Goose Lake, IA and is approximately 70 miles. Day 2 is a approximately 100mile return leg to Bettendorf or opt for the shorter route ending in Goose Lake which is about 47 miles. Routes will be shared on our webpage.
Day 1 Highlights:
Start: The Isle Hotel/Casino Bettendorf in Bettendorf, IA or Northeast High School in Goose Lake, IA.
Route: Scenic ride along the Mississippi River with rolling hills. Challenges: Climbing Chestnut Mountain and the infamous Wall before crossing briefly into Wisconsin for your descent to cross the Mighty Mississippi.

Menominee, IL
Well-stocked with trail mix, fresh fruit, peanut butter sandwiches and more. There is a lunch stop in Palisades Park, IL that will include sandwiches.
Overnight: At Loras College in Dubuque, IA, with a buffet dinner. There will be a beer garden to relax in prior to dinner. The college will offer a variety of overnight accommodations from camping (tent or RV) to reserving a dorm room for a fee. The college will also have shower options and overnight secure bike storage.
Day 2 Highlights:
Depart Dubuque, IA and return to your starting location either Bettendorf or Goose Lake. Route: Gradual climbs out of Dubuque through the Mines of Spain continuing south along the Great Mississippi Road.
The return route to Goose Lake is approximately 47 miles.
Return Route to Bettendorf is approximately 100 miles.
THERE WILL NOT BE ANY TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS (Shuttle or SAG) BETWEEN GOOSE LAKE AND BETTENDORF.
