A Splash of Florals: Pen and Watercolor

This will be a fun exercise in color while celebrating summer's bounty of flowers!

Working from direct observation of fresh cut flowers, students will learn basic color mixing and watercolor techniques starting with continuous line drawings to explore shapes and patterns of flowers before moving on to their watercolor pieces.

$30 non-members, $25 members + $15 materials fee

About the instructor: Jessica Fligg is an artist working in her studio and extensively en plein air. She paints throughout the year with winter being her favorite time to paint outdoors. Jessica believes that working from direct observation is key to building a strong foundation in drawing and painting.
