Berwyn’s Pride Walk is a celebration of Berwyn’s remarkable transformation into one of Chicago’s most culturally vibrant and diverse communities. Join us on June 28th from 12-4pm for a walk across the Depot District as we come together to celebrate Pride month. All are welcome in recognizing and celebrating during this great event!
The Berwyn Pride Walk begins at Harlem & Windsor, just outside of The James Joyce Irish Pub at 12PM. The Pride Walk ends at 2 p.m. at East Avenue.
The end of the walk will be met with music, local organizations that service our LGBTQ+ community, and activities hosted by Bungalo+ and the Berwyn Development Corporation.
Come out and sashay down Windsor Ave - best walk wins a prize!
We will have a chalk art zone where we invite children and families to design their own Pride flags!
There will also be a bracelet making table where anyone can make a bracelet that best represents their personality!
This event is supported by the generous donations of 2nd Ward Alderman Joshua Bowman, 7th Ward Alderwoman Sarah Barnett Bruckmann, Bienestar Counseling, Berwyn Auto Spa, Date Nite Beaute, Focal Point Business Coaching, Lavergne's Tavern, Pillars Community Health, and The James Joyce Irish Pub. All flags, pins, patches, fans, and activities are brought to us by these community members!
