**BADGE of HONOR TRIP TO JERICHO MOUNTAIN! PLEASE READ ALL**
This will be a weekend badge trip to New Hampshire for the Jericho Mountain Badge of Honor. More details will come.
Key / Important Notes
- Time Line:
•Aug 29th Travel day to NH.
• Aug 30th Green/Blue trails
•Aug 31st Black Trail or Mt Washington.
• Sept 1st Travel home
- Difficultly / Requirements
- Vehicle Should Be In Good Running/Working Order ** Meaning if you have been having engine/transmission issues, address them and get fixed before the 8 hour trek to wheel it.. please.
• All trails are on a more difficult level than simple greens and blues
• Black trail (Actual Badge) is a very technical and demanding black level. If you’re not comfortable running blacks currently, sorry, but this trail is not for you.
• Green/ Blue Trail : Functioning winch and 4WD/4LO
-Good Tires .. meaning mud terrain, or good tread on All Terrain/ RT
-Radio/ Walkie Talkie/ GMS Radio
• Black Trail :
-Functioning winch
-Functioning 4WD/4LO
- Lockers (atleast one highly suggested)
- Mud Terrain tires with good tread
- Radio/ Walkie Talkie/ GMS Radio
- Experience on Black Trails and familiar with how to recover/winch safely.
* if you're opting to NOT do the Black Trail Sunday, but want to stay the full weekend to make the trip worth it, Mt Washington is an easy drive and well worth the view at the top!
