About the event

Transforming Anger: Mapping Emotions, Cultivating Compassion with Eve Ekman
Explore anger as a teacher, blending emotion mapping & ancient wisdom to transform reactivity into clarity, resilience & compassion.

About this Event

Anger arises in many forms—frustration, resentment, outrage, irritation—and yet, beneath its fire lies wisdom. In this immersive workshop, we will explore anger not as something to suppress or fear, but as a profound teacher. Using the Atlas of Emotions  we will map our emotional landscapes, tracing anger’s roots and understanding how it moves through us. With clarity, we can see what fuels our anger, what it is asking of us, and how it can serve as a guide rather than a force that consumes us.

Alongside this deep exploration, we will turn to the Four Immeasurables—loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy, and equanimity—as antidotes that help transform reactivity into wisdom. Through guided practices, we will plant the seeds of a calm, clear, and compassionate mind, learning to meet anger with awareness instead of letting it control us.

By integrating ancient wisdom with contemporary emotional science, we will cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and develop tools to navigate difficult emotions with grace and integrity.

Through personal reflection, group discussions, and contemplative practices, you’ll leave with a greater sense of emotional balance, practical techniques for working with anger, and a renewed connection to yourself and others.

Come ready to explore, to challenge old patterns, and to discover a new relationship with anger—one that leads to clarity, resilience, and deeper compassion.
