Cal Q&A is excited to announce the 2025 Queer & Asian Conference at UC Berkeley! The theme of QACON 2025 is BLOOM, encapsulating ideas of new beginnings, change in the face of an evolving country and world, and hope in the face of setbacks from all angles. As a revival conference after six years, we are starting with a blank slate to envision future conferences and a collective community.
QACON 2025 will be a one-day conference on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. We are excited to welcome two keynote speakers, some student performances, and a wide variety of workshops for the queer & Asian community.
The conference is open to all community members at UC Berkeley, the greater Bay Area, and beyond. We are unable to accomodate for transportation and travel costs for participants at this time.
Breakfast and lunch will be catered and light snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. We are aiming to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut free dietary restrictions.
