Juror's Award: Artists in Conversation

Join us for an artist talk with Juror’s Awardees Andrew Catanese, Xiao He, and Hannah Möller, in conversation with Anthony Graham, curator of at dawn at dusk.

The talk will take place from 3–4 pm, and the gallery will remain open until 5 pm—giving you time to enjoy the exhibition after the discussion!

at dawn, at dusk is our 2025 Juried Members Show curated by Anthony Graham (Senior Curator at BAMPFA) showcasing 25 artists from the Bay Area. At dawn, at dusk explores moments of transformation and ambiguity—those in-between states where change is subtle yet profound. Through abstraction, layered materials, and evocative imagery, the juried exhibition examines how time loops, stretches, and speeds, challenging linear notions of progress. The works reflect on stillness, perception, memory, and connection, emphasizing overlooked scenes and quiet interactions. Ultimately, the exhibition asks: when does change become transformation, and how do we recognize the thresholds where one thing becomes another?
