Join us in the Bay Area, celebrating Deaf Awareness Month in September 2025! We are hosting our 2nd Family ASL Camp in collaboration with Bay Area Black Deaf Advocates @bayareabda Thanks to one of our BlackDeaf coaches, we will be hosting our camp at CEID: Center for Early Intervention on Deafness @ceidberkeley in Berkeley, CA!
All are welcome! Our focus groups are preschool and elementary Deaf and CODA children. We have leadership roles available for teens, ASL students, DeafPlus adults, and interpreters families.
This is our continued offering to further bridge the gap and ensure families feel supported within the community. We emphasize that Black Deaf Students Matter, elevating the need for access to language in ALL settings, culturally responsive interpreters, and Deaf led mentorship for Deaf children/adults.
