Composition and Bandleading with Taylor Eigsti

Join Grammy-winning pianist, composer, and bandleader Taylor Eigsti for an inspiring and interactive workshop on composition, arranging, and leading a band. The session will begin with a focus on the creative process, including developing ideas, shaping melodies and harmonies, and crafting pieces that inspire engaging performances.

From there, the workshop will follow the interests of the participants, with opportunities to explore topics such as improvisation, ensemble communication, and piano techniques. Whether you are looking to refine your compositions, strengthen your bandleading skills, or dive into specific instrumental concepts, this workshop provides an open and engaging space to ask questions and learn from an accomplished artist.
