Join us for beginning tango or intermediate tango with Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda! This is a series of THREE classes held at the Berkeley City Club. Tango is an improvisational dance based on connection and communication. Felipe and Ayano teach the fundamental structures that give rise to grace, fluidity, and creativity in social dancing.

These classes are taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers," and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.
If you have just taken Tango 101 for the first time, we recommend that you take the beginner level. The class will include some review and some new material.
Wednesdays: 16th, 25th, and 30th
6:45-7:00 pm: check-in
7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango
8:00-8:30 pm practica
8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango
9:30-10:30 pm practica
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions!
$60 general admission (three classes, beg. or int)
$25 general admission (single class, beg. or int)
$15 student with ID (single class, beg. or int)

We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St.
