Join ritual weaver Alphonsus and didgeridoo master Stephen Kent for a meditation and sonic voyage through the longest night of the year, integrating the darkness before we step towards the light. The evening will feature meditation, discussion, and a deep sound journey into night.
No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds
Alphonsus has been a dedicated ritualistic and soundsmith for four decades, bringing together poetry, voice, rhythm, and trance to open us to the stories living within us, and to weave them together into something wonderous. In addition to his technical brilliance, Kent is known the world over for his ability to induce deep trance states with this ancient and otherworldly instrument. He has also been a KPFA DJ for many years. Together Alphonus and Kent will help us reflect on this poignant moment in time and open to the timelessness beyond.
