INSTRUCTOR: Originally from California, DL has lived in numerous states. When she returned to California about ten years ago, a friend introduced her to The Great Dickens Christmas Fair. Her friend ran a store at Dickens and asked DL if she'd like to make accessories to sell at her shop. It started with reticules and soon expanded. DL realized this was her passion: the accessories. When she retired, it was a natural progression to start her own business designing and making historically based accessories. Repurpose and reuse are a crucial part of her business philosophy; 70% of her ingredients are upcycled.
