Barrio Mundial at 1 Pinnacle Path 2025

Gypsy/Manouche Jazz

Javi Jiménez, Spanish guitarist and composer, created Barrio Manouche, a San Francisco Bay Area ensemble that blends Jazz Manouche (Gypsy Jazz), Modern Jazz, Flamenco and Latin-American rhythms. Luis Jiménez, on percussion and cajón, and Ross Howe, on guitar, are also in the highly successful band Barrio Manouche. That hit band’s talented musicians started a trio, the Barrio Mundial Trio, that captures the energy of flamenco gypsy jazz. Ivan from Barrio will also be joining the Trio at 1 Pinnacle Path.

Based in San Francisco, CA the acoustic ensemble performs a repertoire of original compositions with an emotionally charged sound that is difficult to classify but instantly recognizable.

This lovely rustic private venue is situated outdoors amongst redwood trees with amphitheater-style seating.

This is a Donation based event! If you want guaranteed seating, purchase advance tickets ($20). Children <18 free with adult. via eventbrite. All proceeds go to the musicians.

This event is a BYOB and/or food. The entrance is on Pinnacle Path, part of the Berkeley Paths network. This path is not wheelchair accessible, but does have hand rails. There is a play area for toddlers. Dogs are welcome too! The venue is private residential property. Our goal is to bring local community together around acoustic music and interesting topics.
