Det er norske myndigheter som har plikt til å sørge for at barnekonvensjonen blir fulgt i Norge, og at barn i Norge får innfridd de rettighetene barnekonvensjonen sier at alle barn skal ha.
Redd Barna snakker om alle barn og unges rettigheter, med særlig vekt på retten til ikke-diskriminering, retten til medvirkning, og retten til beskyttelse i lys av barnekonvensjonen. Hva sier forskning på barn og unge som bryter med normer for kjønn og seksualitet i Norge?
Hvert femte år skal de statene som har forpliktet seg til barnekonvensjonen rapportere til FNs barnekomite om hva de gjør for å innfri barns rettigheter. I 2025 skal den norske regjeringen, rapportere på gjennomføringen av barnekonvensjonen til FNs barnekomité.
Redd Barna går igjennom hva FN ber Norge redegjøre for når det gjelder barn og unge som bryter med normer for kjønn og seksualitet. Hva har egentlig den norske stat sagt de gjør for å innfri barns rettigheter på dette feltet? Hva sier sivilt samfunn om rettighetssituasjonen i sin supplerende rapport fra Forum for Barnekonvensjonen?
Sist, men ikke minst, vil Press Redd Barna ungdom, fortelle hva norske barn og unge har gitt innspill på i barnas egen rapport til FNs Barnekomite.

It is the Norwegian authorities who have the duty to ensure that the Convention on the Rights of the Child is fulfilled in Norway, and that children in Norway are granted the rights that the Convention on the Rights of the Child states that all children should have.
Redd Barna talks about the rights of all children and young people, with particular emphasis on the right to non-discrimination, the right to participation, and the right to protection in light of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. What does research say about LGBTQI children and youth in Norway?
Last but not least, Press Redd Barna youth will tell what Norwegian children and youths have provided input on in the children's own report to the UN Children's Committee.
