Troldsalen, an intimate concert hall seating 189 guests, is specially designed to deliver an exceptional chamber music experience. From the stage, you can gaze through the iconic window at Grieg’s little composer’s hut – the birthplace of so many legendary pieces.

Sigurd Mosbakk
Sigurd Mosbakk is a pianist, currently 24 years old and studying his master’s degree at the Grieg Academy in Bergen in the class of Professor Einar Røttingen. He grew up in Eidsvoll Verk and started playing in the local music school when he was 12 years old.
Sigurd has played a large variety of pieces, from Bach to completely newly written pieces and performed extensively during his Bachelor studies in Bergen, which entailed an exchange year in Kuopio, Finland. December 2024, he did a short tour in Japan with the pianists Tore Bordal and Katrine Lislevand Pavjluk, performing Grieg’s opus 66.
He has also performed as part of the “Ro i rom” series for Kode, where he performed short concerts at Lysverket, reacting to the art installation that was there at the time.
