Last Fridays w/Maria Jackson Band

We are beyond excited to have Maria Jackson perform at Portello this weekend!

Maria is a soulful, moody vocalist that hails from Baltimore, Maryland and arrived to the West Coast back in 2018! With inspiration from artists like Adele, Corinne Bailey Rae, Phoebe Snow, Beyoncé, and Sade, Maria has cultivated her own unique and memorable sound that touches your soul and heals your heart!

She was first introduced to music through late-night record-listening sessions with her father and trumpet lessons with her uncle. While living in St. Helens, Oregon, an impromptu karaoke performance revealed her voice—and ultimately changed the trajectory of her future towards music! Her music is raw, emotional, and deeply human, reminding us ALL that heartbreak and music are universal languages we all share and can connect over.
