Larkspur Stand at WildWood

Larkspur Stand, hailing from Central Oregon, exemplifies and amplifies country blues, folk, & bluegrass. Since 2017 they’ve been marinating a sound that continues to move and shake hips. Fronted by singer-songwriter Jake Soto and his energetic originals on guitar. Not to be outdone by Jake, Garrett Miller (Skillethead) adds frontman support on banjo with a cosmic country feel through own his clever song writing and warm vocals – both guys always mixing in fun familiar tunes. Through added collaborations with Matt McConnell (The Critical Blues Band) on bass, Patrick Bedard (Jess Ryan Band) on the light drum kit, and Bob Morris playing spoons and cajon (Bob’ll convince you that all bands should have spoons), these guys are holding traditions while exploring experimental spaces of jazz and adjacent genres.
