Native Santa Cruz musician Ted Welty, a guitarist and singer/songwriter is a much respected soloist and collaborator who is also in Locomotive Breath and Spun. Bob O'Neill, also a Santa Cruz guy, was an original member of the legendary band Snail starting in 1967. Santa Cruz Bassist Daniel Vee Lewis is a longtime musical collaborator from World Entertainment War to the Joint Chiefs; Bill Graham once said he "had that animal/juju thing going on." Keith Graves, a long-time resident of Santa Cruz, is a multi-talented musician, in particular, an accomplished drummer and bass player.
