Mississippi Music: Rich Mattson & the Northstsrs

Thanks, so very much, to First National Bank Bemidji for sponsoring the season opening Mississippi Music at the Bemidji Waterfront concert. First National Bank Bemidji's generous support is what allows us to present this concert free of charge to our community.

Over three and one half decades, Rich Mattson (Glenrustles, Ol’ Yeller, The Bitter Spills) has become one of Minnesota’s most respected, prolific, and notable musicians and songwriters. Mattson could be thought of as Minnesota’s version of Texas’ Doug Sahm.

On Wednesday, June 11th, Rich Mattson and the Northstars will mostly rely on Interstate Highway 169, and Interstate Highway 2, as they transport their brand of Electrified Folk, – i.e The Byrds, – Country Rock, and Crunchy Roots to Bemidji’s Downtown Waterfront.
