Meet Author Tashia Hart at the Bemidji Public Library!

The Bemidji Public Library presents a Q&A with author and artist Tashia Hart on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 2 PM at the Bemidji Public Library. Tashia Hart is a writer and artist from the Red Lake Nation of Anishinaabe in northern Minnesota. Her literary works include fiction and nonfiction for adults and children, including “The Good Berry Cookbook”, “Native Love Jams”, “Gidjie and the Wolves” and “Girl, Unreserved”. In addition to her illustrative work, she is a jewelry maker working in beads and birch bark and some metal work.

The Bemidji Public Library is committed to providing the community with valuable resources and services. The library is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
