At Pins and Needles Academy Movie Making Week, young filmmakers and designers will craft puppets, create a script, make a set, and record a movie while learning sewing, crocheting, and textile art techniques. Whether they dream of being behind the scenes or in front of the camera, this camp is perfect for creative storytellers!

🎭 Theatrical Puppets & Plushies – Hand-stitch mini characters to bring your movie to life! 🧵 Costume Creations – Design and sew simple capes, masks, or character accessories for their puppets.
🌟 Hollywood Star Patches – Embroider your name onto a fabric Walk of Fame star.
🎬 Cinematic Backdrops – Paint and sew fabric scenery for movie sets.
📽️ DIY Director’s Bag – Sew a handy bag to carry scripts, props, or film gear!

To ensure your child has the best experience possible, here are a few important details:
1. Clothing: Please send your child in comfortable clothing suitable for dyeing and painting projects. It's best if they wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
2. Lunch: Pack a lunch for your child each day. We have a refrigerator to keep lunches fresh and a microwave for warming up food.
3. Hydration: Encourage your child to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
4. Drop-off and Pick-up: Drop-off is at 9:00 AM, and pick-up is between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM.
