One Last Run Together – Celebrating 29 Years of BBay Running
After nearly three decades of serving Whatcom County’s runners and walkers, BBay Running will close its doors permanently this Saturday, May 31. We invite you to join us for one last weekly social run to honor the legacy of the county’s oldest running and walking specialty store.
Founded in 1996 as World Wide Running in a humble garage, this store evolved through many forms—from WWR to pioneering online retailer RunningShoes.com, then as the beloved brick-and-mortar Klicks Running & Walking, before finally becoming BBay Running under new ownership. Through every iteration, our mission remained the same: to support and inspire this community in pursuit of healthy lifestyles.
Whether you experienced the perfect shoe fitting, shared miles at a weekly run, raced in an event we sponsored, or simply stopped by for advice—you were part of our story. Now, we’d love for you to help us write the final chapter.
