🎷 We are excited to announce that the inaugural Beyond Jazz Weekender hits Bellingen Memorial Hall from the 15–17 August.
🎶 This 3 day event promises a vibrant playground of sonic exploration and soulful relaxation. An invitation for adventurous audiences to explore a bold fusion of live jazz, club culture, wellness and immersive art experiences designed to thrill the senses.
🎷 Festival highlights include innovative jazz-house supremo Horatio Luna and DJ Chris Gill from Melbourne, plus legendary saxophonist Sandy Evans and new jazz generation act Monstress from Sydney.
🎶 As DJs spin a jazzy soundtrack for diners, expect good vibes and even better food, with Swaino’s serving up soulful treats, while at the front bar, the Disco Pig ladies will be shaking up smokin’ cocktails.
🎷 Join any of the three workshops run by Sydney’s Dance Makers Collective, to brush up on your moves before shaking it on the dancefloor at the Saturday Night Social, with Mastersonics providing the soundtrack.
🎶 The Saturday night finale concert – the House Band Sessions – showcases the depth and talent of our fine local jazz scene, with featured guest musicians dazzling us with their skills.
🎷 Rounding out the weekend, the Sun Day Rave reimagines the festival format with a blend of yoga, sound healing and a DJ odyssey featuring the best local spinners. It’s a must-do experience costing just $20 for the day.
