So You Want to Major in Music? - Interlude Summer Music Festival Workshop

Anna and Kaden Larson of 'consonari' will present a workshop, "So You Think You Want to Major in Music?" at 5:30-6:30 PM.

Join consonari at 7:00 PM for a concert featuring fairy tales, myths, and fantasy in music composed for violin and piano. (Concert included in workshop ticket)

About the workshop:
Many young music students may be surprised to know that you can go to college for music. Others might be already planning on it, but are unsure of what that might look like or where the path might lead. This session will be an open and honest discussion about the joys and challenges of becoming a music major, from the audition process through graduation and beyond. Led by young college professors who were music majors themselves not too long ago, the session will include personal anecdotes and life lessons sure to be valuable for any student who is thinking about seriously pursuing a career in music.
