Fishing Basics Workshop

Hands-On Workshop for Kids and Families

Want to try fishing but not sure where to start? Join us for a 3-part, hands-on workshop designed for beginners and families who want to enjoy the outdoors and learn the basics of fishing.

We’ll cover:
• What fishing gear you need and how to use it
• How to tie knots, cast, and use live bait
• Tips for safe and successful shore fishing
• Then we’ll end the session by fishing together!

This workshop is perfect for kids ages 7–16. Adults are welcome too (anyone 16 and older must have a fishing license to fish). All equipment is provided — just show up ready to learn and have fun!

Location: Granton Park at Loch Lomond Lake in Bella Vista
