Summer Rock Painting with ROCKSAnne the Rock Snake

We’ll be contributing to RocksAnne, the community Rock Snake in Belgrade, by painting large stones to lengthen her winding form.

We’ll also create smaller rocks for our children to hide around the neighborhood—tiny messengers of kindness, waiting to be found by strangers who may need a reason to smile. It’s simple. It’s meaningful. It’s what we do best.

Bring a rock or two to paint if you would like to take some with you to disperse in public places. A small preprinted note from Maeve will be ready to glue to each rock, as well as all painting supplies provided.

This event will be housed in the outdoor, fenced playground area and children 3-99 are encouraged to paint with the help of an adult. Be mindful that the acrylic paint we will be using is permanent as it needs to withstand the outdoors. Please plan clothing and expectations in advance with your children if you feel strongly about getting paint on clothing accidentally.

If for any reason the weather doesn't cooperate for an outdoor experience, We will reschedule!
