Walk For Stephen

Now with the Marathon over we want to turn our attention to supporting a former member of the youth centre, Stephen McMullan on continuing his road to recovery.

For those who may not know Stephen, he was a keen amateur boxer and trainer for Patsy Quinn ABC and who, following a bout in 2021, suffered from a devastating brain injury. Stephen has battled hard over the past few years and has researched treatment in Columbia to take him on his next step. A real inspiration for Stephen has been the arrival of baby Eden in September 2024.

We, as a community, would like to support him in any way possible and as part of this we have organised a 'Walk for Stephen' that will take place on Sunday 25th May.
