Join us for the 2nd year of this fabulous, wet, and funny event! The Belfast City Park Pool closes on September 14 for the season, but one week later, the pool will be available for the dogs!
Join us for the PAWS-A-POOL-OOZA Dog Swim event at the Belfast City Park Pool. We'll have three groups for the large dogs (30 lbs. and over), and we'll have one group for the small dogs (under 30 lbs.).
There will be plenty of tennis balls to chase and opportunities to jump in the water! Your dog should be friendly and comfortable in a group of dogs, and should respond to recall commands. Swimming is for the dogs only; owners can be at the edge of the pool or standing on the pool stairs, but no humans will be swimming. Take home a doggie ice cream treat!
Due to the space and the following attendance caps, we'll ask all dog owners to register in advance. We'll have a cap on 10 big dogs per time slot and a cap for 20 small dogs:
11-11:45 AM - 20 Little Dogs
12-12:45 PM - 10 Big Dogs
1-1:45 PM - 10 Big Dogs
2-2:45 PM - 10 Big Dogs
All dog owners will need to provide current proof of rabies vaccination at check-in; and because of our limited space, we will ask everyone to pre-register! Handlers should be 21 and over, but all doggie family members are welcome to attend!
Cost: $5/dog. Please register by September 18 at 6 PM! If there is inclement weather, this event will be canceled, and everyone will receive a refund.
