Join our friendly physics students for a hands-on science adventure packed with exciting demonstrations, surprising experiments and plenty of ‘wow!’ moments. This interactive session lets children discover how science works through play. Bring your curiosity and creativity, ask questions and get involved.

Designed for families, The Science Playground is all about learning by doing and showing that science is fun, friendly, and full of surprises. Perfect for curious kids of all ages.

Aurora VR Hub

Step into a virtual world where you can witness the breathtaking beauty of the Northern Lights from a serene nature setting. Discover how different elements produce the stunning colours of the aurora and enjoy a rich, immersive experience complete with fascinating facts and science aligned with the research of Professor Jim Wild of Lancaster University.
