Beginner Skills - Simple Hemming

Say goodbye to holes in the hems of your jeans, learn to shorten pants with the most common finish – rolled hems!
Grab that pair of work pants that needs shortening, or that old favourite pair of jeans that could have a second life as your new favourite shorts, and join us to learn the basics of hemming.


What we will cover:
Measuring length of pants on and off the body
Accurately measuring and cutting new hems
How to set up your sewing machine to suit your clothing
Straight stitching rolled hems
Ironing and steaming finished garments

This is an ideal class for beginners with no experience needed!
