Lady Lyon "Cub" Tour @ Tanswells (FREE ENTRY)

Spanning alt-country, indie rock and garage psych, Lady Lyon's debut LP "Cub' is joyful, classy rock n roll, recommended for fans of Wolf Alice, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Shannon & The Clams and Angel Olsen.

Lady Lyon is a Sydney indie band lending jangly guitars and soaring vocals to music exploring themes of love, loss, and resilience. The band has earned airplay on Triple J, ABC Country, Double J, 2ser and on community radio nationally, and performed at festivals like Dashville Skyline and alongside artists including Hiss Golden Messenger and Grace Cummings.

With debut album Cub out 25 June 2025, the Lyon’s roar grows louder. “Cub is a diamond forged under pressure and if this were the only thing I ever made, I’d still go out proud and fulfilled. Like most songwriters, I turn life’s highs and lows—the beautiful and the brutal—into something I hope resonates with others too. I wanted to create something fun and joyful, even as it deals with complicated feelings—regret, loss, shame, guilt, fear, and love.
