2024 Household Hazardous Waste Day

The Town of Bedford is holding its Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Bedford Highway Garage, 19 Chubbuck Road, Bedford, NH. This is a one-day event for Bedford residents to dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste. Your vehicle must have a valid Bedford Transfer Station Sticker to participate in this event. NO EXCEPTIONS!

On Household Hazardous Waste Day when entering the Highway Garage with your household hazardous waste materials, DO NOT EXIT YOUR VEHICLE, ATTENDANTS WILL REMOVE ALL ACCEPTABLE WASTE FROM YOUR VEHICLE.

The Town reserves the right to reject any liquid, material, or substance which in the opinion of the Environmental Coordinator or designee, constitutes a serious hazard to other users of the facility.

Latex Paint is NOT a hazardous material and can be disposed of at the Transfer Station at any time. Latex paint must be dried out before disposal.
