🎸🎶 Rock for a Cause: Mickey's Café Fundraiser – Year 3! 🎶🎸
We’re back for the third year running! After two amazing nights of live music and raising over £500 for Mickey’s Café, we're doing it all again—louder, bigger, and with even more heart.
If you’ve not heard about Mickey’s Café, it’s something seriously special. Every week, the church opens its doors to anyone who needs a warm meal, a drink, and some friendly company—no questions asked. It’s a proper community lifeline, and it’s all run on love, good vibes, and donations. I’ve seen what it does for people, and it’s incredible.
So, we’re putting on a night of tunes to help keep it going! Expect loads of rock and pop classics—from the 60s, 70s, 90s and beyond. I’ll be covering The Beatles, Oasis, Tame Impala, The 1975, and loads of Pink Floyd (in honour of Mickey—he was their biggest fan). And trust me, hearing Floyd echo through the church is something else. ✨
There’ll be a bar (run by the church, prices are very cheap), so no need to pre-drink. Every pint helps the cause—literally.
So come along, bring your mates, and let’s have a proper good night for a brilliant cause.
