Monthly Meeting - guest speaker Dr. Kristen Uthus

Our guest speaker is Dr. Kristen Uthus, owner of New World Orchids. The topic will be "Japanese Orchids: The Small and Mighty".

Japanese orchids are not typical in the orchid world as they are often collected for their leaves rather than their flowers. She will speak about what makes Japanese orchids stand out in a crowd, what influences their price tags, and why Neofinetia falcata may be the easiest of all orchids to grow.

We'd love to see your blooming orchids on our show table. Please bring plants for the show table by 11am so that we have time for judging. Meeting begins at noon.
