Back to School: Back to the Past - Fossils All Around Us (Grades PreK – 3)

Celebrate the start of the school year by stepping back in time! Join us for an engaging day of science, storytelling, and hands-on fun with real fossils and paleontology experts. This event is free and open to the public.

Fossils All Around Us (Grades PreK – 3) starts at 9:00 a.m.

Session Length: 45–50 minutes

Activities:
Read-aloud featuring Dinosaur Lady by Linda Skeers (10 min)
Craft: Make your own paper trilobite (15–20 min)
Hands-on fossil exploration & coloring activity (10–15 min)
