Cram-a-Cruiser & Car Wash Fundraiser ���
Join us on Saturday, September 6th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fisher’s Your Independent Grocer in Beaverton for a morning of community action, fun, and giving back!
This special event, hosted in partnership with Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), Brock Township Fire Department, and Beaverton Independent, is all about supporting our neighbours and raising awareness during Hunger Action Month.
Here’s what’s happening:
Cram-a-Cruiser: Help us pack a DRPS cruiser full of non-perishable food items and monetary donations to keep TNDF’s food bank shelves stocked. Every can, box, and dollar makes a difference for families right here in our community.
Fundraising Car Wash: Treat your vehicle to a firefighter-approved shine!
-$5 for a rinse
-$10 for a washPayments can be made in cash (dropped into a boot!) or by tap. Drive around the back of the store (north side) and line up along the south side to access the car wash.
Why It Matters: In Brock Township, food insecurity continues to be a real challenge. This event is a chance to come together, raise awareness, and directly support programs that connect our neighbours with nourishing food and supportive resources.
